Poppy Tingley is a British/Canadian mixed media artist (b. 01 London) living and working in New York City. Her practice involves Illustration, experimental animation and sculpture to juggle a child-like rawness and sensitivity.
Her perspective is deeply influenced by archive recordings, folklore, nonsense and patterns to blend together elements of reality and her imaginative landscape. Her keen observation reveals a subtle tenderness and humour inherent in human personalities.
Poppy received a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Central Saint Martins (London) in 2020, and her BFA from Parsons School of Design (New York) in 2024, completing a year at Parsons Paris in 2021.
