Poppy Tingley is a British/Canadian mixed media artist (b. 01 London) living and working in New York City.
Her recent practice involves working with archives, alongside forming new imagery, animation and sculpture. Her work explores themes such as folklore, nonsense, childhood and play. Organised Play/playgrounds have been a recent curiosity. She aims to juggle a child-like rawness and soft sensitivity using primarily ink, crayons, pencils, chalk and felt.
